STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF NANOSILICA FILLER ON THE MECHANICAL AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF PA610 PLASTIC ABSTRACT In this paper, the influence of nanosilica on the mechanical and thermal properties of PA610 plastic was investigated. The optimal content of nanosilica was determined through the mechanical properties and morphological of PA610/nanosilica nanocomposite. The results show that the maximum tensile strength of nanocomposites with nanosilica content is 3%. At this content, the thermal stability of PA610/nanosilica nanocomposite is significantly improved compared to neat PA610, as shown by an increase in the decomposition onset temperature of 23.43oC.
