The paper presents the research results to evaluate the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on Vietnam's leather and footwear industry. In this study, the assessment framework, criteria and scale (points) to analyze the situation and to assesse the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on enterprises and footwear industry of Vietnam by 2030 are built. From the survey data of 100 enterprises of enterprises and footwear industry of Vietnam, the application of the Fourth Industrial Revolution achievements in footwear enterprises was assessed in 2019 and it is expected that by 2030 according to the leather and footwear supply chain: product development research, supply and purchase, production organization, sales distribution; as well as impact on corporate governance, labor and labor productivity. This is an important basis for building a model of footwear enterprises until 2030 and proposing solutions to support footwear enterprises to successfully apply the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
