Abstract The Sap coconut is among the highly valued coconut varieties in the Vietnam and they are grown popularly in Mekong Delta, particularly in Tra Vinh province so the demand for Sap coconut seedlings is very large. Therefore, the propagation is only through a embryo culture technique to produce seedlings with high uniformity and Sap nuts rate. The purpose was to perfect the embryo culture technique and contribute to improve the success rate until coconut trees reached the standard of exporting planted nursery. The results showed that coconut embryos which difficult germinated would grow well in dark conditions in 3 weeks and the amount of BAP required to be added into the Y3 medium was 10 ppm/L. The best growing media for embryo culture seedlings was coco peat, Tribat's cow dung and sand with a ratio of 1:1:1. And N3M's foliar fertilizer helped coconut tree grew best in plant nursery conditions. Consequently, this was increasing the success rate of the embryo culture technique process to 60,6% with propagation of plants time from 10 to 13 months.
